Budgeting Loans are interest-free loans from the social fund available for people receiving certain benefits for at least six months. A Budgeting Loan can pay for:
- furniture and household items
- rent in advance
- moving costs
- costs while seeking employment
- travel costs within the UK
- maternity costs
- funeral costs, and
- home improvements, maintenance and security for your home.
