Support for those experiencing domestic violence in Scotland

Samaritan contacts

If you are at an immediate risk of violence, call 999 and speak to the police.

However hopeless it may appear, you do not have to suffer violence at home. Inflicting violence on another person can be the cause of mental health issues, and there is help available to overcome these challenges. There are also confidential support services available if you need discreet assistance.

For information about domestic violence, and links to organisations that can help, visit the Citizens Advice Scotland.

SSAFA - the Armed Forces charity, supports veterans and their dependants with domestic violence through referrals to other organisations that can help. They can provide contacts that can provide discreet assistance and advice. Visit the SSAFA website for more information.
