Tax Help for Older People

Tax Help for Older People

Tax Volunteers is a UK registered charity, founded in 2004, that provides free, independent, expert help and advice for older people on lower incomes who cannot afford to pay for professional tax advice.

Our service operates under the name of Tax Help for Older People.

Clients can access our advice service by phone, letter, email or website. Each client is treated as an individual and we will continue to help and support them until their tax problem is resolved.

The service is available and operates across the whole of the UK.

We provide help and support to older people on low incomes who are faced with tax problems and do not know how to deal with them.

Our support includes all aspects of personal tax and pensions tax problems, from simple code checking and self-assessment through to underpayments, PAYE, savings, allowances and all tax issues relating to bereavement, retirement or digital tax engagement.

We will work with our clients until their problem is resolved. With over 420 volunteers and a national call centre, it doesn't matter where you live.
