Alabaré is a charity that supports vulnerable, homeless and marginalised people. We help them transform their lives, providing accommodation and helping them gain the skills, confidence and opportunities to live a fulfilled life.
Alabaré's Homes for Veterans provide supported accommodation to British Armed Forces Veterans who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless.
We provide dedicated support to Veterans across the South of England: Wiltshire, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Devon, Dorset and Bristol. Plus North and South Wales.
On any given night our Homes for Veterans are able to keep over 100 Veterans off the streets.
In addition to the Supported Housing we provide, our Royal Navy/Royal Marines/Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RNRM) Veterans Outreach programme offers specialist care and guidance to vulnerable veterans who have served in the Royal Navy, Royal Marines or Royal Fleet Auxiliary and are over 55. This service is also available to those in receipt of a full service pension and includes those who are currently living in their own homes..
If you have served in the UK Armed Forces and are homeless, or you fear you could become homeless in the near future, and you are in need of support (perhaps due to depression, PTSD, ill health, unemployment, family breakdown or similar), then we may be able to help you.
