The Defence Recovery Capability is a Ministry of Defence (MOD) initiative backed by Help for Heroes, The Royal British Legion and other Service charities. Its aim is to ensure that wounded, injured and sick military personnel have access to the services and resources they need to make a return to duty, or transition into civilian life. Visit the MOD website for more information.
The service is delivered through Personnel Recovery Units and Personnel Recovery Centres. Veterans can benefit from Individual Recovery Plans built around their specific circumstances.
